Well needless to say the rain didn't stop all day. But did manage to get out into an old barn about 25yards long for an hour to sight up. I manage to find some old film negative so cut two pieces of that and shimmed the rear scope mounting. After resetting the scope turrets and taking a shot the point of impact was thankfully higher than the cross hairs. With the rifle in a secure hold I turned the elevation and wind age turrets to line the cross hairs up with the point of impact from the pellet. I'll wait till the rain holds off to adjust it to 35 yards and do the fine adjustment but it'll do
