This brings a smile to my face! I live in wrexham, north wales and have alot of permison in shropshire where black rabbits are a common ocurence! We had 5 last week and only 2 gray, One permisiion seems to be over run with them and they seem to be bigger and fatter than the average wild rabbit! After speaking to the farm owner, who is a very keen hunter, (but dosent have the time to ferret) he said it is a strain in the natural gene which changes somethink in rabbits genetics which causes them to be a solid black colour which is why they are becoming more popular! thanks joe.

I am 14 years old and a keen hunter, my cousion and i carry out a small pest controll buisness.(hobby) we've got permision on a few local farms and are currently having more and more oppertunities to spread out further across north wales. I have recentaly bought a falcon praire light hunter .22 very pleased with the rifle but i need some advice on what pellets are best? Im shotting rabbits,rats and ferral pigeons!
