  1. Hello, I'm having a bit of trouble with getting decent scope mounts for my Weihrauch HW80. The first set were the wrong kind but the second lot I got just came off after 20-30 shots. They were proper Hawke sports mounts 9-11mm dovetail but had only one screw to tighten onto the rail and no anti-recoil pin. Does anyone have any suggestions for good mounts preferably for not more than £15. Thanks, Daniel
  2. Just a quick update, picked up an HW80 today. It is quite something, heavy but I find that it's easy to hold steady. Unfortunately it was dark by the time I got home so I haven't fired it yet. I've ordered a Hawke 3-9x40 AO which should come later on this week along with some see through mounts. Thanks for all the advice, Daniel

I definitely could be wrong though. The 95 is a very good rifle, I know that but taking everybody's su

I've spent a while researching (by the way I definitely want a Weihrauch) but am a bit confused by all the options, models and prices flying around. I will generally use the rifle for plinking and a bit of pest control (mainly crows) and have decided upon a .22 cal. I do prefer break-barrel but could probably be talked into an under-lever, my budget could possibly stretch to £300. The rifle must have open sights and a ra
