    sorted shimmed the rear mount which then gave me enough adjustment on the windage,,,,thanks for all the advice boys and girls

    cheers for info im not to worried about up and down i understand about packing the rear mount its the left to right i dont get, the mounts are brand new and came with the scope. they are hawke aswell anymore info would be greatly appreciated....cheers

    just bought a hawke 4-12x50 ao ir scope. fitted it to my hw97k air rifle which had a hawke 3-9x40 on it, i thought it was faulty because every 10-20 shots i had to keep re setting the scope.the new scope i have adjusted to it max settings for up and to the right, and the gun is firing low and to the left at 35 yards i have no adjustment left can anyone help...... the sciope was new and out the box today cheers

    any advice on a high mag scope that will fit a hw97k, i have a hawke 3-9x40 all high mag scopes the read ups say wont fit on break barrel or under lever air rifles.....cheers ears

    problem i have when it was firing it was only 7fbs i was told it had recently been serviced and a new spring fitted,,,, also lost scouse, rufford dont service air rifles and field sports in rainhill use a gunsmith so ill try standish ta la........

    Hi Bud the gun has most probably been reamed.They drill a small v upto the transfer port.So the piston can push through more air.Seen a few hw80 with this done some years ago.100 yard kill easy. Forgot to say you must have an FAC.

    advice needed boys, take both your points, im taking it then that whatever has been done to the it can be undone? 2nd point, ive only got one scope at the moment but is there any other scope which are ok on springers ///

    im after a couple of bits of advice if you can guys and dolls,i'm new to air rifles and forums so please excuse me if i sound like a three year old,,,,,i own a hw80 and a hw97k, the hw80 is a second hand gun and after taking it to target sports to be checked and tested they said they could do nothing with it as it had been messed with ( bored out i think he said ),is there any way of restoring this gun back to its legitimate glory as i dont want to lose it,it was by the way only firing at 7flb. Also can anyone advise on a decent but not expensive scope for either rifle, i have a hawke 3-9x40
