Hi everyone , I'm a new member and new to hunting. I'm looking to bring my young whippet/bed cross out with a more experienced team so we ( Ben and I ) can learn and observe. My dog is nearly nine months old and I'd like to be able to head out and let my dog hunt out rabbits .I'm unsure about when to let him hunt as I'm currently letting him chase on any quarry we meet on our walks as he's off the lead. I'm assuming I'd keep him on the lead and use a quick release if we came upon anything I thought he 'd have a chance at.many thanks G.S
