He's coming up for 2 years in the summer. Thought about using a shock collar but they are a but expensive like. He really good at hunting up and is great on rabbits, starting on foxes now too and following up deer. He just barks at them now but I think I might get a muzzle so s he can run up to them and if he's too ruff the ferret can just give him a nip

Hi all wondering if anyone can help ? I have a pat/Lakeland terrier and he's a great dog but he doesn't get on with my ferrets ! He used to try and attack them in the box and in the cage. I've managed to get him to stop this and I can hold the ferret and he won't touch it. He doesn't attack them as such in my presence but he will lunge at them and mouth them. I would really like to take him ferreting but I just can't trust him. Any help would be gladly appreciated. Cheers mitchell
