    OK, thanks - so we either get them tested every 2&1/2 years, or have them fitted with the right valve... So, how much is the valve?

    OK, here are the two bottles in question, each of which has a different valve. Tank1 is pretty new, tank2 we have no history on. Can anyone identify what kind of valve they have and therefore how often we need to have the charged? Thanks

    how do I tell what kind of clamp it has? These are bottles that have been passed on to the club and we don't have a full history of them. How much is the air bottle head?

    Hi all - hoping someone can help as this question has recently come up at the local rifle club... What (exactly) are the rules regarding testing of air tanks? Some information has come to light that an air tank that doesn't have a specific type of valve on it (which identifies it as a non-submersible tank used for refilling air guns) has to be tested as if it were a submersible tank - i.e. every 2.5years. A tank which does have this specific valve has to be tested every 5 years. If this is true, what is the name of this valve and how much does it cost to have it fitted to an ex

    Hi Ray, the whole package is provisionally sold, pending confirmation of delivery/collection details. The buyer is hoping to confirm things Monday so I'll let you know if he pulls out.

    Since posting I've realised that it's been more than 5 yrs since the bottle was tested, so I'll throw in the bottle for free. £450 for the carbine - it was serviced in 2010 and had it's seals replaced then.

    I have a pair of these fabulous rifles available for sale. I bought them both at the same time - one is the standard model, the other is the carbine (shorter barrel) version. Both have basic Silver Antler scopes fitted with Butler Creek flip-up caps, and each has a spare 10-shot magazine and is fitted with a moderator. I have a single, large, air bottle I use to charge them with. I'm looking for £900 for the whole setup, and may be interested in splitting them off and selling separately, although the bottle obviously will have to go to the first comer! I'm selling them as I
