Just looking for some advise really I have a mate who owns a fishery in wigan and is having a big problem with herons that he needs to get rid of ASAP, He has asked me to go up and try and shift these but i am not sure on how i go about this. The decoy herons don't work and i obviously cant shoot them so dose anyone know the best way to deal with these ??? any help would be much appreciated as hes just watching all his new baby carp getting eaten, Literally watching the pound signs be eaten away. I couldnt get to sleep one night (PRE BAN) so took my 2 year old staffordshire bull terrier out for a quick walk on the rugby field across from my house it was pitch black so took the torch with me as i let him off the lead and scaned the field with the torch i spoted a dog fox right in the middle of the field as it set off running my dog spoted it and followed after 10mins looking in the trees for him i found the fox dead and my dog lied down at the side of it hes never even bothered about another animal before and lets other dogs bully him but that nite he must of snaped haha Has anyone

Getting Rid of my xbox 360 comes with two controls and 14 games all connection cables also a extra 64mb memory card. Looking for about £120 ono will UPS for £10 or can be collected from wigan. Will swap for a good air rifle capable enough for light pest control.

Looking for a road legal Quad bike somthing to have a bit of fun on over the summer and also to get across the farm on when shooting. dont want to be blowing big bucks on one as its only going to be sold after summer got a budget of around a £1000. Has anyone any ideas of a good but not to expencive PCP out on the market? I am fairly new to hunting and have been useing a SMK XS79(QB79) its a nifty rifle but is laking the power needed. It takes rabbits out with one shot but only at around 15-20 yards. i paid £100 for the SMK and was wondering if theres a decent PCP for around £200 ish thats going to have close to 12flb for shooting the bunnies?? any infomation you have would be great. Thanks

We are looking for someone who is willing to take us out on a vermin shoot as the guy who was teaching us has been taken ill and is no longer able to. also we dont yet have our own permission but have a couple pending agreement. Wigan based sensable lads own a SMK XS79 with gun light just looking for one kind harted shooter who will take us out with them and show us the ropes. We will travel near anywhere to get some more shooting practice in as we are really keen to get into this wonderfull sport/hobby if theres anyone out there willing please get in touch. Thanks Danny

Just picked up a brand new Culite cree interceptor gun light only paid 50 brand new in box put it on my smk last nite and took it for a spin the box says 300m and its not far wrong comes with remote switch and all the other bits also 3 lenses but I can't seem to get the lenses to stay in as the rubber supports that hold them are not very good atal so I will have to fashion some device to hold them in place seen one of these lights on ebay at well over £100 this price to me is a little steep for the quality brackets ect but the quality of the lamp itself is second to none ultra bright cree led

Thanks guys great help. also si sorry its the way i have worded it i have been shooting a rifle for over 12month and was with a experianced shooter whos owns the farm i was on. first time i have had bunnies with this rifle i have been useing my mentors gun for the past 12month sorry for any confusion dont want to rub people up the wrong way but thanks for the pointer mate appreciate it. -
I have been out lastnight with my xs79 and got my first 4 rabbits at around 25 yards but i am wondering if there is a better rifle i could get at not much more expensive than this one. i have bought this gun joint with a mate as we are new to the hunting scene but it wasent as good as we expected so are looking if there is another gun we could get thats a bit better but not to much more expensive? i dont want to be trowing some big sheets down just yet as last night was the first time i have had any bunnies with this rifle so need to get a bit more practice with it yet. can anyone poin

Just joined today from wigan hence the name i have just started taking an interest in the hole hunting. i have bought a SMK XS79 joint with a mate of mine as we both want to get into hunting and was just wondering if this gun is anygood it seems to have good reviews in my local gunsmiths for a first rifle but you guys are the experts so what do you think? we have plastered all of wigans farms and golf courses with forms asking for permission to shoot any vermin on there land but only had two come back to us as yet and was wondering if there is any pointer to try and seal the deal?
