    i live in the north east, middlesbrough, and i have a fair bit of permission. i just went door knocking. i had a mooch out a few week's ago to blagg somemore''lol' and out of 8 farm's i got permission on 3. just keep tryin mate. also think outside the box. dont just try farm's. try also golf coarse's, market gardens, and any fields with horses on ect. you will get lucky.. best of luck to you...

    Going to be a bit of a nightmare not shooting pigeons!

     

    The majority of my permissions are all wheat fields this year :cry: got a 100acre outside my backdoor not a pigeon to be seen :cry: ,another 100acre 2 miles away,not a pigeon to be seen :cry: and to top it all the three 10 acre rape fields are basically in the middle of housing estates and public footpaths,making it a pain in the butt to shoot :no:

     

    Getting bored by the day!

     

    Pleased I ve still got some rabbit to shoot or I would go insane :clapper:

    So your the man with all the permission around where I work at least now I know when I have knocked the farms in Seaham they actually do have someone shooting for them, by any chance do you drive a black L200 pickup truck as might have seen you shooting some barley stubble last year.

    Selling for a mate he has a MK1 8ft Deben ferret finder it has been checked with a Mk3 collar and works fine.Only mark on it is a number 8 wrote on in marker pen.

     

    Item location is Shildon County Durham he is after £60 for it but is open to offers.

     

    This sale is for finder only no collars included.

    Hi All,

     

    Can't post in wanted so thought I would put it in here instead :D

     

    Ok so let the sob story begin I have been out knocking on doors for over a year now and also sent letters / business cards out and no joy as yet but I am still trying hard :laugh:

     

    Well I have another bairn on the way in January and have been given the green light by my lass to still get out shooting (Like she could stop me) but I don't have any permission and with the bairns arrival imminent the free time to go out knocking will be non existent so was wondering if anyone needed a hand out on their farm or could possible give me a hand to get foot in the door with a farmer? Also have car so can travel :yes:
