I found a dead Muntjac Deer in April 2011 on the beach at Hartlepool on Durhams east coast. I took several photos (still got them on my phone) as my dog -a staffy- is smelling it (It makes a good comparison for the size). I knew it was a Muntjac because it had "tusks" from the top of its mouth pointing downover. A few weeks before there was a few sightings of the "Durham Puma" which were reported in the Hartlepool Mail. (Website is Hartlpooltoday).
