listen folks i would appreciate it if you would lay off rose !!
i organised the show in camloch
dave parks gave me a hand as well especially preparing the grounds for running
now on the morning of the show the PA system man was late setting up and arrived and told me he wanted power in the field 15 mins before we were due to start
now as you know we had 48 greyhounds entered to run before the lurcher racing
the lad that was to help me sort out the entrys for the lurcher /whippet /terrier racing was caught up at work and phoned to say he was going to be late so all hell broke loose reguarding entrys
NOW i seen deidre and begged her to ask rose would she PLEASE help me as i was in a sinking ship now i called out for any one with entrys to come down to the slippers hut and give your entrys to rose (WHO HAD INFORMED ME SHE WAS HERE TO RACE HER SELF BUT WOULD HELP OUT IF I WAS STUCK )
ROSE took the entrys and my self and rose and paddy burns made the draws
any one that gave me multiple entrys we guarded their entrys as best we could even in the greyhound racing
both rose and eddie had an entry in each heat of racing and won all their heats convincingly
now do remember guys the show was ran to raise money for charity and thankfully it did and i hope every one enjoyed them selves
there was no hidden agenda or fixed racing after all folks it was all for a bit of fun PLEASE DO NOT LOOSE SIGHT OF THAT
we learned a lot from our first show and hopefully it wont be the last !!
thanks to all who turned up on the day
