Thanks for the welcome, guys! This seems like a friendly forum to be on. I'll not worry about her ears - they're cute, anyway and as long as she can hear with them, that's fine by me! I bought her from a guy who bred from his own greyhound and deerhound/grey cross. He was keeping one of the pups for working - almost kept my one, but I'm glad he didn't!

I've just joined this forum as I've recently bought a lurcher pup. She is now 16 weeks old, 3/4 greyhound - 1/4 deerhound. I'm not actually planning to work her (her parents are both working dogs) - she is primarily a pet - but I hope some people here will be able to give me good advice on her training and development. One thing I've noticed over the last couple of days is that the way she holds her ears has changed. Instead of them being at the sides of her head, she is holding them quite erect and close together, so the overall effect is more like a GSD than a lurcher. Is this
