    hi guys found a tick on my ferret today, they are keept in a weld mesh cage and she had a tick on her head, the only meat that i have fed them in the last few weeks is a jackdaw. has anyone else heard of ticks on birds?? its the only way that we can think she may have got it on her from.     hi guys im just wondering if any of you have heard of rubbing in oil for the stocks of your guns? it enhances the grain and colours of your stock i watched someone do it the other day but cant find it for sale anywhere on the internet ATB george

    hi guys, now this may seem a stupid question to some of you but i may aswell ask, on my hw77k in the trigger guard there is a screw now i have been told it is for adjusting the trigger sensitivity?? if this is true can someone tell me how i would go about adjusting it? i know i have to twist it but by how much and what direction? sorry if its a stupid question atb george

    hi guys quick question but i have been speaking to alot of the locals around me and they have never seen a greylag goose on our local flood land... anyway i was duck shooting the other night and two flew over (had a left and right ) but they were all shocked when i told them do you know why they would have been around?? atb george

    hi guys Recently got a young ferret off my mate I have tried to introduce it to my older ferrets. This is where the problems start... my older ferret is dragging it into there box constantly and the kit is screaming is there anyway I can stop this?? And my other ferret is doing the same but by the ear or whatever they can get hold of ?? Of there is anyway I can stop this then please tell me ?? Thanks in advance, george

    Hi guys I just picked up a really cheap hw 77 with scope I zeroed it in and it seems to be so much more powerfull than it should be im knocking crows and rabbits over at 65 yards stone dead?!!!! How is this possible for 12ft lbs ?? Atb george

    thanks guys sorry for late reply haven't managed to get online for a while i have found out on closer inspection that the carb was loose and one of the vacuum pipes were loose!!! all fixed now

    Just got some brilliant new permission on a local farm its crawling with rats!!!!! Just walking round you see them constantly! A lot of crows around the silage pit but cant get close enough any ideas?? Also hundreds of white ferrel pigeons but the farmer loves them and told me not ro shoot them they come and land about ten feet away in a flock of 25-30 of them so tempting!! But any help with the crows would be great?? Cheers george

    I have got a Lakeland terrier she is about 8 months now but I cannot get her to play fetch no matter how much I try is this normal or not?? I was hoping that if I could get her to play then I could use her to bring rabbits back to me from the purse nets and before you say yes i know this is the wrong section for ferreting but I though u chaps had the most experience

    Hi everyone One of the terrier men I know has just moved up country to do it as a permenant job he gets 2 quads a house, phone and a few more bits but what I was saying was that how would you get into a job like this ?? I'm 14 and choosing what to do as a career and just wanted some more info as I can't contact the chap anymore

    thank you to the people who werent so critical to the people who were, people are allways on about bringing the kids into the countryside and its sports/trades then you get people like you knocking me when i come up with a idea... im 15 and get a new idea and all you do is take the pi*s sorry if i offended you buy comming up with an idea!
