were did i say the irish had no working dogs if u check i was asking were they show dogs or working dogs u ashhole.a whole lot of people there tend just to keep dogs for shows i know a lot of good doggie men from over there but they tend to stay a way from the pet shows.

Pictures of such a catch in 2 hours would be appreciated or have they not invented the camera in your woods? I'd love to know the number of fields you walk to get this amount of rabbits or did you just visit your local pets at home store with your 'show' dog on the lead?!!!

So tell me this; if my dog goes out one night with me and does 5 rabbits and a good load of chases, and you take your dog out and it does 6.... does that mean that your dog is better?!!!!You think thats what it comes down to? Not how my dog had say 10 other good courses, or how he broke hedges for every one, or how I slipped him on a red and he had a go, the weather, the time of night etc etc etc. You think its just down to numbers? Bann valley lurcher whippet and terrier show and racing
Lot of comments being made.....unfairly i might add... this is the first show for bann valley and it will start as it means to go on
judging will be done fairly and favouritism by judges will not be tolerated by the organizer
any dog deemed by the organizer to be a full greyhound will not be allowed to take part in showing or racing.
Entry to show is £5 per adult... children under 10 free
showing and racing is £3 per entry
Rosettes and trophies for winners
above plus certificates for finalists
i hope this has answered a few questions about fairness

the IRISH hare was protected by a temporary protection order .... which was not renewed this year so means there is no protection for them ...
the brown hare was never protected so has always been legal to hunt ...
now what is banned is the organised coursing meets , the beagles are still allowed to hunt and so are the lurchers
so as from 4 days ago (start of the season for hare in NI) any hare is fair game
i know boys from the north it is banned dont you get caught with lurchers and a hare together .get your facts right.
