The hawk has been caught it got stuck in a thorny hedge in someones garden so the idoit has got it back

I would suggest that if the bird is found you return it and actually try and mentor the bloke so that he gets a clue how to look after birds. All that will happen is he will buy another bird and the cycle of bird mistreatment will continue. People do things not necessarily out of badness but out of lack of knowledge or experience. Its all well and good getting on a high horse claiming should have done this or that and shouldnt have birds. The guy has got one lost one and is likely to get another helping to sustain the prolific breeding of harris hawks. Might not be the best way he has gone abo

female harris loose in stoke on trent and its legs are tethered the idiot who lost it had her clipped to a cheap dog clip which has snapped it was lost from Longton, so anyone from stoke keep an eye out for it i wont give his details to anyone because he does not deserve to have any birds as hes not got a clue how to look after them if found give to someone who will look after her she is not on ibr to him.

The vet says she should recover well it was a good break she is strapped up got go back tuesday for bandage change,she was free lofted with only flying jesses on she is a really steady bird i do not have to bow her down at hunting weight it was just an accident.

I checked on jess my female harris tuesday morning and she had broke her left wing she is free lofted for the moult,i think she was spooked in the night, luckily it was a break in a good place the vet has strapped her up got go back on friday to have dressing changed,has this happened to any of you.

My female harris chased a cock pheasant about 500 yards but they went down a slope i couldnt see which way they turned if she had no telemetry on i would not have found her she got it in very thick cover i would not go out without it on her.

hiya mate i shoot a .22 rimfire i know rabbits are safe for my bird to eat,i have been told the .17 shatter on impact so would be feeding lead to my bird which would kill her im no expert on guns but would rather be safe.

Anyone in the stoke on trent/staffordshire areas got any shot rabbits spare as i need some for hawk food will collect/pay.thanks.Must not be shot with .17hmr ,.22 only.

Hiya im looking for somebody in the staffordshire area to go hunting with ,with hawk or hawks,my bird is 4 years old good on rabbits the only problem is the farms i go on dont have much on them so would like to go somewhere new with more rabbits i have got ferrets.My bird seems to be getting bored with just following on with nothing to chase. thanks Tom.
