just heard that the shoot captain of one of my shoots is seriously ill and the estate has taken the shoot back and will use its own beaters and pickersup. Fortunately the syndicate has been allowed to shoot its usual days but I and many others, are now available every other saturday from October 30th, for beating. Anyone know of any Somerset area shoots short of beaters? Most are very experienced.
