Thanks - in a nutshell no I don't know anyone to show me. I've got plenty of friends who shoot but none who work dogs. Don't get me wrong - we got the puppy because we wanted her, but I would like to work her if I can. Her mother is good at catching rats but has never been trained, it's just that she spends all day on a horse yard and so has plenty of opportunity. Can anyone recommend a good lurcher book?

I'm new to the site and have just got a lurcher puppy (there's some whippet and saluki in her and I'm not sure what else). I want to train her for ratting and maybe lamping but don't have a clue where to start. Any tips/advice/offers of help greatly appreciated. I live in West Berkshire if that's relevant. Thanks
