  1. Cheers for that, I done all that with my terrier and hes perfect (well kind of) ive got dummies etc just need to shoot a rabbit, might go out tonight and start the training asap.
  2. I mean when i take her out for a walk she chases rabbits into the bushes......what i want to know is should i walk her where she is unlikley to come across rabbits? And what do you mean it'll be sick?
  3. What sort of trainig should i do,my terrier is well trained ie in coming back working where i point sitting etc, the whippet comes back on the whistle (still using treats). Some say carry on and you say wait. I have a friend that works his lurchers but i think the whippet will want to play with them more than chase rabbits. And what about where i take her in the day, theres lots of rabbits, should i just go to the park so she can have a run around and not actually chase anything, i really dont want to ruin her as ive seen alot of dogs in the beating line getting ruined by an inexperienced hand
  4. I have a 10month bitch Whippet, I took her out lamping with my new lightforce lamp, she chased a few, getting very close but after a while she was giving up half way through the run, I run her on about 10 rabbits, I dont know if this was too many or what. I take her out with my terrier in the day and she usually chases a rabbit or 2. She seems to stalk rabbits in the day, am I ruining her by letting her chase rabbits that she is unlikley to catch. I have 3 ferrets 1 terrier and a gun whats the next step. I also made a lure for her to chase which she does. Thanks Matt
