    Hi Despite enquiring on numerous occasions to various sources including the Police and letters to the editor of 'The Countryman's Weekly' - who fobbed me off by saying he would not get involved in legal matters, when the paper is full of advertisements for quite obviously illegal items.. So the paper will sell you an illegal item and take the revenue from advertisers, but not give its readers advice as to what is legal or illegal. Amazing.     Hi Everyone, I have been offline due to a terminal PC failier, in which I lost my cosiderable address book. I now have a new PC and am up and running, all be it with a much slimmer contacts book. I am a Lancashire Lad, 65 years young this October. I have been a dog man all my life, got my first Lurcher from my grandad when I was 5. He used to take me out with him and taught me so much about the countryside and life in general. I am also an angling nutter from my fathers influence.     Here is a great recipe from my old Granddad 'Connie the Fish' a real 'Old Romany Gent'. He used to cook eels this way for me when I was a lad. They tasted great back then and will again once the ban is lifted. 1. First catch an eel 2. Nail its head to a plank of wood or a tree 3. Slit it from its arse to its gills and clean out the cavity 4. Put some salt on your thumb and forefinger and pull off the skin from below the gill. ***It will come off in one piece.     Hi everyone out there, I'm a new member to the forum. I am an aging Lancashire lad. Less hair, more waist not as much breath as a few years ago, but even keener to be out in the country now I am retired. I'm into any sort of fishing - especially Sea Trout and Salmon.     Hi, where do you class as Tony Capstic country? South Yorkshire? Are you refering to my old friend Joseph Anthony 'Tony' Capstic?     Hi Gem Did you get my reply to your post last week re: What dogs have you got????????? I am worried you didn't as I got no reply. I am having trouble working my way around the THF site I'm a technology thicky. So I have had to wait till I found you replying to someone to contact you. Hope you don't mind.
