  1. Thanks all, Cheers Jack, just wat i was looking for
  2. Hi guys, had another quiet day on my small holding with my .22 XL. Only saw one collared dove. This one was quite high in a tree. I have been told that when shooting high that you need to aim low. So i did, Although it was quite close it was a nice humane shot. As there a lot of trees were i go i would like to perfect my high shots, any advice would be great thanks,
  3. thanks lads just worked out the scope was brocken so i replaced it and it all seems good
  4. Thank you for all your help, im going to try that over the weekend. The scope came off my Pcp as i brought a new one for that, and i used it to the center of the cross hairs. Cheers
  5. Hi guys, just wondering if any one could help me. i have a springer that i have had from new, its been well looked after not been dropped or anything, but it hasnt had a lot of use. the other day i fitted a scope to it, its a quite old 3-9*40, i know the scopes fine as it worked ok on my primary gun for the last 3 years. So heres the problem, i zeroed the gun to 20 yards and was hitting about a 15mm group, but [bANNED TEXT] i shot at a target at 10yards away i hit the same group but about 60mm to the left of the target. I have never encountered this problem before does any know why this is
  6. Well if it is a mad house then i should feel right at home

  8. Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce my self, I shoot on a small holding and occasionally i shoot with Pest hunter 151. I was out today on my small holdingon my own. i saw this pigeon, It was only 25yard away, but a lovely shot for my BSA Lightning XL .22. I aimed for the heart and thats were i hit it. Was a bit dissapointed to only see the one around, but thats the way it goes.
