thanks for the replies...think i will have a play with different brands before commiting to the large purchase, im not too far from the gun shop so not so bad. Now to retire my hw77, cant bring myself to sell it.

Hi guys This is my first post so be gentle with me. I applied for my FAC in the end of Dec 09 and have just been informed that my license is coming on weds. 15 weeks must be a record I am picking up my cz varmint 16 " probably first thing thursday morning, think they open at 9 o/c...better get there early just in case. What is the best ammo to go for as the chap in the gun shop said that there all made by the same people just branded differently and to go for the cheapest available at that time. Has anybody else heard this or are there any advantges between brands?
