    hiya im thinking of getting a lurcher pup and was thinking of doing abit of the old foxing with it and was just wondering whats the best cross for that kinda game and ive read alot about bull x do you really need the bull bred into a dog for it to be a foxing dog

    hi im thinking of getting a english springer spaniel and was looking for some information regarding the breed i mainly shoot air rifles and would requirer it to go and fetch the shot rabbit/quarry for me and would like to know is this breed of dog good for that? (sorry if i seem really green to it ive never had a gun dog breed before) also if and after ive done enough research on the breed and do eventully get one at what age do/can i start to trainer it and is there any good books/dvds and what not to get that would make it not seem soo mind blowing for the first timer and one more qest

    hi ive been thinking about getting my self a rough coated jack russell for a while now and just got a few qestions 1.how do i go about breaking it to ferrets and live stock etc 2.at what age can i take it ferreting 3.what are the must know commands many thanks ferretingabout2010

    hello i took my hob out today because i didnt work him last time i was out soo i thought he deserved a day out lol anyway i went to my place i ferreted last time because i was sure there would be atleast one more in there i had alook around the holes and there was fresh droppings there soo i put my hob(bertie) down and theer was nothing :S but atleast we got out in the fresh air thats how im looking at it would of been good to have a rabbit for dinner but i had fun just being out

    hello i was chatting to a bloke at work earlier and he said he used to do ferreting and used to use his dog ,now i have a staff and was just wondering how do i break him to ferrets sorry to ask alot of qestions but im really getting into ferreting and when i walk him he sniffs rabbit holes and for some reason pees on them any information would be greatly appreciated

    hello im looking for abit of information regarding breeding im thinking of breeding my ferrets this year but dont want to go into breeding blinded sooo heres a few questions 1. how much do i need to put away for when the ferret kits are born. 2. is there a good book i can read about breeding ferrets 3. my hob i think is coming into season(if thats what you call it for a male) his balls are quite large and on show(i notice this when i was giving my ferrets there daily health check) and was wondering should i sperate them, untill my jill comes into season because i dont want him pesterin

    hello my name is dan im new to forums soo you will have to bear with me ive been reading this book called ferreting an essential guide and ive got my self a pair of ferrets(a hob and a jill havent named them yet) i got a small permission and went on my first ferreting trip i laid the nets and put my jill to ground first waited about five minutes and then out came a rabbit into the net but no jill just as i was dispatching the rabbit out came another one soo i jumped onto it and took care of it but still no jill so i waited to see if there was anymore to follow and nothing soo i waited about ha
