  1. cheers mate, got a younger hob to train off the hob thats getting put to sleep and my jill, hopefully he'll be as good as his dad
  2. thats what i thought, was hoping it was the problem that is common in ferrets but didnt have the luck, the ferret was an amazing worker and even though he cant use his back end he still is happy as larry, best off letting him go than making him suffer tho.
  3. well, after a good 4 years hunting with my oldest hob its his time to go, he has a tumor on his back bone which has stopped him from being able to use his legs and the vets have said it would be best to put him to sleep. The ferret has been an amazing one to me and has caught his fair share of rabbits in his time, hopefully going to take my jill out tomorrow and let the little fella eat his last rabbit before he goes. Was gutted when the vets told me nothing can be done about it, he still is so bloody happy and its terrible to see him go like he is.
