  1. The bag is a camelbak striker xt in apg. I tried for ages to find one in the uk but couldnt, so I had work order me one through from the states.

If you want one give your local Cotswold outdoors a ring. The product code is 63110137 4040 0 They are £65 plus postage and expect to wait around eight weeks for it to come.

Failing that give me a shout at the Harrogate branch (01423 701100) and I will order one for you.

  2. I go with an empty bag and full pockets, then come bk with a full bag (hopefully) and full pockets if I havent lost anything :) altho I do have loads of stuff knocking around in the car just incase.

I probably should mention that I dont cary all this about with me. I cant stand the "floating about" as I always forget/ loose somthing. I just grab my bag when I go, and when I get there I just take whatever I need for that session and leave the rest in the car.

  3. My main shooting bag and contents.

  5. In summer gray squirrels are most active in the early morning and then again in midafternoon; during the middle of the day they rest.

In the winter, when the days are shorter, around noon is their peak activity time.

Good plan with the fens, I prefer the live traps baited with peanut butter & monkey nuts. Set a couple out and get him to check them and give you a call when you need to dispatch them.

  6. Nice shooting. What do you think of the thunderbolts? I was asking about them in the gunshop and they said they were a bit rubbish, but then some of the reviews say there great. it would be good to get an un bias oppinion.

  7. I diddnt use paint I used mossy oak cloth tape and a realtree gun sock. It probably cost me about £25 to do all of it, and I can take it off to clean periodicaly, take it back to walnut and blued metal to sell. I will take a photo tomorrow and try and put it up
