I use straw in the bottom for their bedding and old towels and old fleece blankets from charity shops !! they wash up well and my trio love them !! I found wood shavings made my albino especially sneeze alot and cough !!

Hi guys, just a bit of advice my three fuzzies have finally had their enclosure finished, they now have a 6 x 5 ft shed with sleeping quarters in and a 5ft square enclosure on the front they are shut in the shed at night but are free in the shed and enclosure during the day !! they are not used for hunting purposes do people think this is enough room for them !! they scale the sides looking for a way out as one is like houdini what do you think any response will be grateful !!

letting them run in the garage where they can not escape for the time being however my little houdini now sits on top of the freezer waiting for one of the unsuspecting kids to open the door and she is launching herself at the door as it opens !! funny to watch !!

I Have 3 non working females 1 albino and 2 polecat / sable sisters !! they have a 6ft x 4 shed that they sleep in and a large seperate run, however one of the sisters keeps escaping the run she is actually scaling a solid wall climbing about 3ft before going over the barrier the other two have not bothered what ever i try she has conquered !! hubby said to leave them in their sleeping shed until he can sort something out but I feel guilty that they are stuck in there !! Am i just being over sensitive or do other people keep their fuzzies in smaller enclosures for longer periods of time !!

My 3 are not working ferrets but they are kept on the kids old duvets and some blankets the toilet area is newspaper which is cleaned daily !! I tried the straw and woodshavings but apart from making them sneeze it kept sticking to my feet and kept trailing it into the house ( soon put a stop to that )!

I use JWB complete ferret always available at night and then turkey mince during the day !!

Thanks, they have a 4ft x 6ft shed that they sleep in and a 16ft x 11ft area to run in that is a fenced off area with play things and a smaller house to sleep in during the day !!

Hi, this is my first post so be gentle with me !! I rescued an Albino jill several months ago and since bought two kitts to keep her company ! they get on famously and just wondering how much time people spend with their little monsters ? Mine have a shed in the garden and a large sperate run with a house in that they spend most of the day in and go away at night !! I visit them several times during the day but sometimes feel guilty that I don't spend enough time but also trying to juggle kids and work what do you guys think !

I sometimes hear mine coughing at night !! they are out most of the day and have fresh meat and never cough but at night in their house they have dry food and if it happens it's during the night !! I have put it down to kibble going the wrong way or getting a bit stuck !! (panicked me like hell the first time I heard it )
