hi crecca my 3" 42gram load is a homeload
I use 3" 40 gram cracking cartridge.

hevishot will kill further than most of us can shot accuratly (say between 40 to 60 yards).
hevishot is also very expensive but if your getting a 10 bore or 12 3 1/2" you can load cheaper steel shot and still shoot geese at very long ranges although with my experience youll have to use fast loads with aftermarket chokes to hold the pattern together.you can look on american reloading sites for good reloading data.
that said i do use a hevishot 12g 3" 42gram load for my foreshore goose work and never feel that i need anything bigger but when my stock runs out il switch to steel quite happyly
Those 3" 42 gram are they homeloads?

I have both a Benelli and a Winchester Super X3. I tend though to pick up the X3 first.
Both of mine are 3.5" so they can both handle any length of cartridge. They do however do them both in 3"?
The Benelli is Wetlands and the Super X3 is Mossy Oak Duck Blind. I believe that and Advantage Timber are the only two camo available in the X3?

Wheat or Barley is fine.

and for CRECCA layout blinds work mate that i use 1 wheather it is pigeon shooting or wildfowling birds dont like coming into corners of fields or to hedges! so if you layout in a field no hedges or corners birds feel comfy in come to the decoys! try it CRECCA you would be supprised mate!!

I will not be surprised I will also use one where conditions allow. What I am surprised at is that you had 10 lay out blinds?

Well done lads

It sounds like the US not Notts with all this layout blind talk!
