  1. I am considering breeding a litter from my lurcher bitch. She is quite an unusual mixture with her dad being a whippet and her mum a springer x labrador. She has come out looking more whippet however. Very affectionate, intelligent and can really run, she is not fully grown yet and I would not consider putting her in pup for a good six months and more but just wondering if it's even worth considering breeding her and what may be a good match?

got to be a wind up

  2. I breed livestock and you need to take into consideration the rearing costs to try and cover the costs of rearing a litter. Electricity, quality food and lastly time all need to be taken into account. £200.00 over ten years is nothing considering how much sport will be attained by its presence in the field. Good luck with the sale. Where abouts are you based?

    the ups are In lecister
  3. When do you lads know when your bird is ready to fly free, the signals I look for are that my bird (harris hawk) will come confidently to the glove on the creance and that she will face me in the mews and the aviary and obviously when her weight is right but I was told by a bloke I recently met that as soon as his bird will jump to the glove he lets it free, am I doing it wrong and being a bit cautious or am I doing the right thing

    your doing the right thing
