£150 is way too much, I had my CZ 452 chopped to 16" by Maskells in Farnborough a few years ago. It cost £35 (no need to reproof as I have no intention of selling it) and made no difference whatsoever to accuracy, it still groups 1/2" @ 50yds but is much easier to use from the car.
