Hi everyone.
I have been trying to order from arthur carter since friday. Online it will not give me a payment option and tells me to call the store. Every time I try to call, my call just fails. Also emailed them with no reply. Are they having technical issues or anything?
Always ordered from them with no problem at all.

thankyou
I was swaying towards just getting my dad to make some. He is handy with a sewing machine. And I am sure I will save some money getting them handmade.

Hi everyone.
I am starting up a new lure coursing club and I'm trying to purchase the elasticated fabric collars that some of the lure coursing clubs use. I can not seem to find anywhere that sells them. I can find racing jackets, but ideally I just want white/red/blue elasticated collars.
Does any one know a supplier of these or a website?
TIA

My ferrets do well on alpha during the summer months. Not a fan of chudleys and from personal experience and from other ferreting friends experience it gives them horrible orange poo. Countryside sell some called Vitalin(I think). Comes in an orange bag. Ferrets did ok on that too. Cant say i've used Pets at home. I have another friend who swears by Doctor Johns ferret food.

I use one of these. Nice and small and never had a problem with it.

Why not add two meshes on each row? Can get up to the required width quicker that way? Just an idea. Add the new mesh at either end of the row so it stays equal.

I knew that was coming. I turned the sound off ready. lol

Yes the bigger one will go through the ring, just don't over load the needle on ya first run. Get enough on there to start on the ring and for your first row, then re-spoll and carry on with a fully loaded needle. I quite like the norweigan style needles that agouti sell.

Just trying to get new car insurance quote. Isn't it funny how they ask the value of my car? How do I know this? I am not a professional car evaluator. Just seems a very funny question to me. Oh and its cheaper for me to get comprehensive cover than third party fire and theft. Rant over

FAO Westy 76. How do you test to see if the vasec hob is firing blanks or not? Not having a dog, just curious as I also thought there was no guarantee with vasec hobs.

If he has loose stools, put him on cooked chicken and rice/pasta for a few days. His stools should harden up. How old is the dog?

That sounds like quite a good idea cookie. Have you used it with success?

Just my thoughts its too short I think a min of 25 yards as it allows you to dogleg it round like a U shape funnelling the coneys bolting down the hedgeline.
I think they will spot the net and sidestep round it.
Cheers Cookie
The rabbits won't avoid the net due to the colour. And I have plenty of longer nets, this is literally just a hedge net to stop them running through the hedge. If they avoid the net, they will get picked up by the dogs.

i dont think you have it set right,, unless you just waked it up quikly for a pic...
is it a trad net,, or fixed pole?? if its fixed there seems to be extra netting after the right hand peg,, also the bottom line is slack ,, and there doesnt seem to be any running kill in the net,, you might need to shorten the running lines..
other than the few aterations,, you have made yourself a good stop net,
Hi Tomo. I started off making it as a purse net. The netting to the right of the pole is the first few row of meshes and the ring. this has now been but off. There is plenty of running kill in the net. The net is just over 22ft long shortened down to 14ft. It's just the picture. It does look too tight in the pic, but I just ran it out and not really played with it. I promise you it does have enough bagging in it. Bottom line got tightened this morning. Just fine tuning it over the next couple of days.

I have a mate with a whippet/grey. And believe me she eats and eats but she doesn't put the weight on. Like RM2508 said as long as you know she is well fed then that's all that matters.
