what way was this dog bred mate? He's an unusual type for the long ears, he looks to have very little saluki.
-
The dogs I have on, my coursing dogs can run for as long as the job takes whether it is thirty seconds are five minutes. In case you get mixed up they are not first cross saluki x whippet, that mate is a pup I imported as an interest. Their grandfather was a pure saluki to a sparky lurcher bitch (in case Callie you think we're hi jacking your thread) their mother is the best bitch I ever seen, their father a line bred connection with also a lot of saluki. So mate to answer your questions; they have great lung, mate not into the pictures game. A bad long ears will not not last long, and they know when to go up the gears to weaken a strong one.

Something different shotgun, an outcross, trying something different instead of relying on other people, and their dogs mate. And believe you me mate, before even contemplating a mating, this dog will be well tested. Too many people breeding of untested stuff in my opinion.

Callie for Ireland, forget about saluki x greyhound. The real results, and bona fide method for producing serious animals ( and believe me it' s taken me twenty years to get what I have now) is for your gamest saluki dog to a good, sparky lurcher bitch. A bitch of proven lines. The pure blood clicks with the hybrid far better than Greyhound. In my humble opinion. The first crosses within in my experience break up in Ireland, and posess less guts. atb

Thanks lads. There is a lot of bog here, I was thinking something with a bit more leg.

He is a nice dog. And I was fortunate enough to see his sister two years ago, a decent animal on strong long ears. Mate any chance of a bit of information on the dog? I know he is young enough but has he produced any dogs of earlier litters, and as good as him or his sister? And is he the same type as her, which was very do or die and not letting his quarry settle.

Hiya lads,
This question for those in the know. I hunt Ireland, and traditionally I find it difficult from start of season to flush long ears, due to crops and cover. Our land is significantly smaller than yours and as we have our long dogs on the slip, I have also found us walking past a lot tucked in. I was contemplating getting a dog that would hit cover and have significant scent ability, and was wondering what type of dog would be best? Any thoughts would be useful.
ps a lot of the fox men run hounds through bogs, and cover and it gave me the idea, but the land I run I can't have a dog singing.

what happened to your half cross BEDDY X GREW mate?
-
It seems the whippet gene is dominant Sascha going by colours. Happy days if they have the speed of whippet plus the suzuki lung and feet. Good job.
-
Believe this mate, your dog will never stop doing this. It's in it, and that's that. No big deal if you have permission a big no no if you don't.

Yes the boots are in Belfast they were delivered today, but delivery failed due to no one available at address, basically I don't see the point in this post on here...
For anyone with any doubts, please DO NOT order anything from us... Thanks
There is no calling card left here so how do I get them? And your right there is no point in this post the minute I get them.

What the f**k are you talking about edd? And I'm sure we're all illuminated by that concise political fact, thats' why you can see what I'm annoyed about 170 quid. And for North East sports, if you'd answered e mails, or phone calls or delivered the time you said, then I wouldn't have a legitmate gripe. So the boots are in Belfast, then matter is closed.

This is just a note of caution. Purchased a pair of Meindl boots of this crowd two weeks ago! 170 quid plus p&p. They assured me the boots would reach me at the latest following saturday, no show. Sent them e mails, been phoning them no response. Last week they told me they were sent DHL, now they're claiming f*****g parcel force, and the weather is to blame! Me thinks a carrier pigeon would have been quicker. I got their details off this site moderators, this wants to be looked at - I certainly wouldn't vouch for them.

That's right Leec, your a 100 per cent. You know Eddy and Jima, tell them I was asking? Wasn't mad on the ground leec, full of flint. You were lucky, seen very few walked until my feet bled! Thanks for the invite mate.

Done a bit there 6 weeks ago. Round by the white horse, and huge land. A very poor day seen no more than 6 or 7 the guys with me that run it, told me it was so poor it had to be the farmers spraying the land. I had heard great reports and it took me a day driving from Ireland to get there, so to say I was dissapointed is an understatement we were run off it too.

I have a few photos of my dogs here I want to put on. Can someone give me the simplest instructions on how to put them on?

Are the parents working foxes?
Never seen one, strictly long ears and a bit of lamping for me more than adequate for the jobs at hand.

Irish lady line bred. 9 pups 6 dogs, 3 bitches. Dogs are 100£ Bitches 150£. Nice reds, white socks. Father is Huck x hazel:
Huck is out of Hope (who is direct out of Irish lady) x M. Quinn's english fly. Hazel is from a pure saluki dog x Irish lady herself.
Mother is out of Gael who is out of Sunny (Hope's brother and direct out of Irish lady) across an old Phillip King Deerhound Irish terrier bitch, a line that doesn't exist anymore across a whippet x saluki bitch. These dogs should be able to run anywhere. The pups are being reared on a farm in Northern Ireland. All details contact Ann on 07788870162.

Had enough of this "he said, she said". As far as I'm concerned and as far as I've been informed by people in the know, Irish lady is Phillip King's line, Irish terrier x deerhounds, as regards litter brothers and sisters King did have a sister to her in his yard that is not in dispute. Now I don't care what course of history anybody attempts to change that is the information I believe to be true. Mucky Paws I've replied to your pms, and been civil but still there is a pettiness to the discussion that leads me to believe this is a personal thing between you and King, that frankly I have no interest in. So that is my final word on this subject. This thread is going nowhere.

King never bought anything in his life! I told you Mucky Paws mate, King bred her thats fact no saluki at all in her, Irish terrier , deerhound. O from sligo bought her,her then she went across the pond. That is fact.

i think you might of made a mistake sunny was a full saluki.... hope was bred by willie tough r.i.p. shamrock/ irish fly/ alects dog/ inny/ were all dogs out of irish lady cheers mate johnWell then you know how good of a bitch she was. She threw Hope, Sunny, she threw hazel off the fireman's saluki, and the stuff most serious coursing men have now is comrades and second generation off her. Now mate let's not run the bitch down, your father in his own words made a fortune from the bitch. She was bred by Phillip, and ended up with Owen from sligo who sold her to Chalky in England and then she ended her days with your Father. Now we're all entitled to our opinions, but this was fact the bitch produced the best coursing lurchers in Ireland and in your own Father's words "you could put a alsation across her and the pups would kill hares."
