Hi All Trappers/Snarers My name is Sean and Iam from Coventry.I have been interested in snaring rabbits for a long time but have never got round to it.I Was hoping an experienced hand in the local area would be willing to spare some time and show a 40 year old the art of setting snares for rabbits.I have run 2 lurchers on the lamp sadley now in doggie heaven,lamped with air rifles,ferreted taught by an old boy 20 years ago, and also long netted.I have fished since the age off 6 .Lost my permission but still trying.Definitely harder to come by as most farms now have shoots. Been intrested in setting snares for a long time but never done it before.I walk through a wood every day and along a railway line,I see plenty of rabbit runs coming from the railway enbankment through the fence.Thinking about setting a couple of snares late evening and returning early morning to see if ive got my main ingredient for my winter stew.Going to set snares on fence am I leaving myself open to step in the smelly stuff.
