  1. Hi there, I have an MTC Optics scope on one of my air rifles. It comes with IR, a 30mm diameter body and does the job at around £200 (I regularly use it for lamping) . You wont go too far wrong with Nikko Sterling as they have a good reputation (I have used one but don't own one). Another possibility is the Falcon Optics range. They are around the £290 mark with IR but they claim to test them on a Lapua .338 (a mighty round) which suggests that if you want to move to centre fire you can keep the scope. For what it's worth I use Schmidt & Bender and Swarovski scopes on my centre fir
