Looking to sell my BSA Lightning XL and AGS scope and was wondering what i should, sensibly, be asking for it. The rifle is in very good nick and has had less than a tin fired through it. The scope is a mid range AGS mil dot. Help/advice appreciated.

Yup I have heard the same. it's when you put a 0177 into a .22 that it takes it over the legeal limit and therefore requires you to have a FAC. I fortunately have one for a .308 and would only need to add the new rifle to the list. Still need to know how to convert or insert the ram properly.

Hi I have just re-entered the world of airgunning and have recently purchased a 2nd hand BSA Lightning XL, which was recommended and turns out to be an excellent rifle. However, on reading a number of threads on Theoban Gas Rams I have become intrigued with the idea od converting my springer to a gas ram. Could someone offer me some advice with reegard to this upgrade and where, if anywhere, in the Basingstoke/Newbury area I might find a willing and competant ginsmit to complete the job for me?
