so just a pure meat diet? how often are you feeding them this? i give mine game, fresh road kill,fish scraps,and offal from the butchers which they like and is free or dead cheap an when ya think about it in the wild an animal who has caught pray will always eat the stomach contents first cuz its got all the vitamins in.

not sure if I'm right so don't blast me, in the states they feed their(pet)ferrets a dry food called kibble and the average life span of the ferrets is around 6 years, in this country are ferrets can live up to 10 years on a meat diet
