she has got all the heart of a jrt very protective and same tempremant same coat as a sbt and the same fecking ears as a chawawawa i need a caged rat i think so she can have a sniff and see her reaction and then once a pellets done that one see how she goes in a barn or somewhere

  6. the plastic lid certainly looks chewed to buggery (panicing rat?)

:icon_eek::icon_eek: Why in God's name would anyone put a PLASTIC lid on a rat trap?

Beggars belief that these so called 'trap makers' can get away with selling such crap

    OTC

lol no i placed the bait on a plastic lid inside the trap didnt want to mess about with peanut butter and wire bars could get messy and cleaning isnt my specialist subject lol :good: the trap is all metal

  7. first rat in it this morning dispatched with the pistol and re set nasty big brown thing lol

went in the garden and next doors cat was sat on the fence where it was set and it usually legs it when i go in the garden this time it just sat there so i knew i had something lol

the way i have secured it has worked anyway which is good

  8. hi

a squirrel or squirrels are eating my chicken food out of the chicken coup, im planning on shooting it with my air rifle next time i see it, is it right that if i hang it over the coup it will deter others or is this rubbish???

    cheers

just set a few traps and try get rid of as many as possible atleat every time u dispatch one its one less to worry about :clapper:

  9. Why not put the trap where the rats can get at it but the fox can't ? P1

its in my garden by my shedand my garden is quite open plan so fox's will get to it wherever i put it anyway if theres a gap big enough for this cage then the gap is big enough for a fox

i have secured it with wire to a chain link fence and a couple of garden forkes dug in around it didnt move last night but still no rat so we will see what tonight brings maybe its a sign that i dont have rats! but then i back on to woodland so there is bound to be a few about

  10. ok so i got my monarch trap from "the trap man" i set it with peanut butter on a plastic lid last night i woke up this morning the trap was upside down in the middle of the garden and the trap door was stuck open lol the plastic lid certainly looks chewed to buggery (panicing rat?) i think a rat may have been inside and old charlie well one of about 7 we have pass through our garden and decided on a meal so beat the cage up until he got what he wanted there is no damage to the cage at all and the bar spacing on the cage is about 10 ml standard hamster cage size i suppose so couldnt have been a fox to chew the lid?.

so i have wedged the trap against the fence and a couple of garden folks hold it in place should i try and secure it better and what are your thoughts on what could have gone on last night?

    cheers gaz

  13. personally dont see the point in a challenge like that a challenge with the end result being nothing air rifles are more about tactical field craft and a pin point perfect shot on a still target.

you want a shot gun for good big bags

like i say i think most of the air gunners on this site get the thrill out of the stealth required
