I found this forum whilst searching the net for a bramble whisky recipe - I made it for the first time last year and cant remember how I made it - I think I followed my sloe gin recipe and just substituted!. However, I just thought I would let anyone interested in making it, seeing as brambles are now prolific in the hedgerows, that once you get the brambles, whisky and sugar into a bottle, it should not be left more than 8 weeks MAX before straining and bottling. Apparently it goes very 'woody' if you leave it. This is perfect timing for giving it as gifts and having it ready for christmas
