  1. Hi. I'm after someone to do a days ferreting on the Wirral. It's a one off (for now). It's a farm with an area that is tricky to shoot, hence ferrets.

This isn't an invite for you and ten mates, or to come and go as you please. Ideal for one or two people.

Please reply on here with interest.

    Thanks.

Anywhere where anyone would take a ferret.

have been doing mate. rang everyone a few times this weeks and left my number, but still nothing. i hope this warm weather holds up for a while. It might give him more of a chance.

  4. UPDATE:

Firstly, thanks for the kind words and concern guys, its apperciated. the jill appeared late last night at a neighbours house. I knew it was her when she bit me:rolleyes: Still keeping hope that the hob returns, or gets taken in. He is super tame, and i think this might be the reason he hasnt been found yet. Im hoping someone has taken him in.

    Thanks for the interest

    Martin.

  5. Went out to feed my ferrets earlier, and one of the kids has left the hutch door open last night. Been putting up posters all afternoon, and visiting vets. Rang everyone i can think of. Im gutted! If anybody in my area hears anything, please give me a shout. Thanks.

1: Brian. Big albino hob. Very very tame.

2: Betty. small black/brown jill. Not so tame.

I cant believe it. I really hope they come home when they are hungry, but im not holding too much hope. Ive left a tray of food out, just in case, and im going to sit in the garden most of the night.

Im in the WIRRAL area (moreton)

    Many thanks.

  6. Right, this has got to go.

12g SBS. Belgian copy of a cogswell and harrison or similar English gun. Double trigger, Non ejector. The selector and saftey work crisp and well. Nice tight action. The Stock and forend have been stripped and re-oiled. A very nice starter gun.

Description of ATN Aries MK350 Night Vision Riflescope

Robust and dense, the ATN MK350 Riflescope is a little 1st generation night vision riflescope. Equipped with a red illuminated reticle and a enormously powerful infrared illuminator, the ATN Aries MK350 has a mounting system made of titanium and a 20° viewing field. Elevation/windage tuning are amazingly fine at 1/8th minute-of-angle, and the MK 350 Night Vision Riflescope's design can endure shocks from recoil and impact without needing adjustments.

There are several diverse variables that affect the distance that one can see with a night vision device such as ATN MK 350 Night Vision, among them the object's size, the level of details being sought from the object and the conditions of observation. Night vision devices like ATN MK350 Riflescope detect much further under a full moon and clear skies than they will under a new moon and cloudy skies. Many different formulas are used to settle on the statistic of maximum viewing range and this varies by manufacturer, so eventually the generation of the intensifier tube is much more pertinent than any quoted statistic when determining the maximum viewing range

  8. UPDATE:

Went to see my pal who is making these for me today. After looking at the sample hose i gave him, he produced a piece of hose that looked the dogs do-dahs.

It is 5mm, STEEL BRAID, ANTI KINK hose. (in fetching blue). Its going to cost a bit more than the smaller bore, but i think its worth it. I tried bending them, and they wont crease. The other good news is that he said he will make them from 300mm to 1000mm, with the price change acordingly.

As soon as he gives me a set price, i will update you and then you can decide if you are interested still.

    Many thanks,MM

  9. it was just a joke about it being in the wrong section and also noticed most of your 20 posts are selling stuff

well, im a member of many shooting/hunting /fishing forums, and dont have time to post on them all. If working dogs was my main interest, then this would be the site i mainly posted on. Ive never seen anything wrong with offering stuff for sale, as it might suit someone. The items im getting are in good numbers, and i thought it would be rather selfish of me not to share some good fortune amongst other shooters. Its not very often that a bargain comes up that everyone can have a piece of, and ive posted this on a few shooting sites that i have friends on. If that is you version of an apology olim, then as limp as it is, ill accept it.

I suppose it is a good deal and have now seen you selling it on other sites where you have a decent amount of posts that arent just selling stuff, my first post on the topic was a bit of a joke and not ment maliciously, sorry about the selling sh*t bit.

but it did seem that you were just selling stuff as 80% of your posts were and especially asking for money to be sent as a gift, as most will know is sometimes dodgy.

I do apologise for argueing but it wasnt exactly all one sided and some of your comments were quite nasty.

anyway good luck with selling them

Is this roughly the type of hose you are selling: http://www.midlanddiving.com/retail/images/m012911.jpg

Chill your boots Olim, accepted and forgoten about. And yes, they are pretty much exactly how they should look. aint seen them yet, but as soon as i get them, ill posts pics.
