Thanks maltenby&Sean, the range I need is for 10 to 50 meters, 11 to 56 yards, I can buy a SuperTEN MK3 Bullbarrel rifle with 24 Joule in Belgium and let them modify it to 40 Joule, also dont know the laws about that in Holland, will check that out and post it. but still I need some feedback on rifle and scope chioce, cheers Jeroen bsa super 10 bull barrel is a good gun.....especially in over 16 joules...........another good choice would be the theoben rapid 7. both these guns use a buddy bottle which will give you a better shot count when tuned. as for scopes...at that r

Ok I realize I have saved up to much budget, will take that advice of the Logun lamp and the holiday but for the rest , wich rifle for the rabbits is the best, and is 24 joule enough or must it be 40 joule to not be cruel and have a clean kill? our legal limit without a licence is 12 ft/lbs...( approx 16 j ) a decent 12ft /lbs rifle is more than adequete for rabbits. what are your licencing laws in the netherlands?? regards sean Just found this picture of a Steyr rifle, damn if something like this shoots well and looks so good I am rethinking my list. After begging the lady for a few years that it was worth it , I have a 4500 pounds budget and want to hunt rabbits at night with a buddy of mine. Hunted allot in the daytime with an old Diana airrifle, but now I want the material that will give the goosebumps a goosebump Checked some airrifles and NVscopes and made a list, would love your opinions and if someone already has the perfect setup, please let me know.
