I've been thinking of buying a new air rifle (Weihrauch HW100S) set above 12 ftlbs. Any comments from you all would be greatly appreciated. I know I will need a FAC which is being processed at the moment. The thing I'm not sure about is where to have the power set. I've been told that above 30 ftlbs the pressure tends to tear off the skirts of the pellets so thats about as high as it should be set unless solid lead bullet pellets are used and they are apparently very expensive. Most experienced shooters I talk to say go for a 22 rimfire rifle but I do like this air rifle and
