  1. Anyone reckon I'd have much luck with a collie?
  2. I was hoping for at least £100 so that's not too bad if I can get that much! I got made redundant and need the money to get to college I'm aiming for a private sale I need the money sadly, and haven't been shooting in a while because I don't have anyway to get to the permission I used to shoot on.
  3. Hi all, I'm looking to make a private sale of my rifle but am not sure what a reasonable price to expect for it is. Hasn't had many more than a thousand shots through it and apart from a few minor dents in the stock it's in top condition. BSA Supersport Mk. II .22 (click for image) BSA Deerhunter Scope 4x40 (comes with detachable tinted scope covers) Buffalo River Sling KASU Slip Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
  4. Yea, apparently he diverted a hunt and hounds off his land once to save the fox
  5. Was a real nice evenings shoot, only the one for me tho, which I forgot up the farm yard... more grub for the big old fox
  6. I'm considering getting a Theoben gas ram fitted, altho still keeping it within the 12ft Ibs limit to improve consistency and performance. I was also considering getting a silencer, but the added length might be a bit too much! It's a great rifle as it is, but I've found it can be a bit inconsistent at times compared to the HW95K. Maybe it's jsut my shooting!
  7. HI, I'm the mate... we do go up at various times of the day, but in the last 3 - 4 months we estimate we have dispatched 200+ rabbits, there are still plenty about but it's becoming more of a challenge, which isn't necessarily a bad thing Jack's using a HW95K and I'm using a BSA Supersport MK II, I prefer Jack's, but mine certainly does the job well enough
  8. I have a theory, the same goes for fishing, that the harder you look as you wait, the longer it'll take; and I it seems to happen quite often that I'll roll a rollie, look up and a rabbit will have popped out or a fish will have bitten.
