few years ago I run a test on factory loaded 6,5x55 cartridges and 155 grain mega was realy great. being not a bonded bullet it surprised me a lot. it was one of a few bullets that i couldn't never have a core -mantel separation even shooting at hard dry paper with 1 inch hard wooden board in front of it .. it is realy a tough bullet but , it works even for shooting roe deer very well. good luck brother in 6,5x55 . nice to hear that 6,5 x55 is even used in Africa.

If you cut a Mega projectile down the middle and file it smooth, you can see that it is cons
