is getting a fac for a hmr the same routine as getting one for a 022 lr

ok cheers mostly rabbits and the odd fox and the land all tends to sweep up hill slightly what would you reccomend

basically i am a keen air rifle shooter on a lot of local land helping the farmers out with vermin control . But i am thinkin of upgrading to a fac rifle but heres the question 1) .22 lr . or 017hmr is there any difficulty between gettin the hmr? or the .22 does the allowed land have to be different ?bigger ? are there many differences in performance / power / accuraccy? is there a difference in price ! sorry for stupid questions but im new to the facs
