just offer him a £1 an accer but you have all the shooting wrights on the land what ever there is too shoot thats about wright i think thats what i offer to all the farms i shoot over the take it or leave it its up to them

each to there own mate if i think that the deer is to far for a good placed bullet i would leave it till another day if i could not get on it there is nothing wrong with bigger callibers for longer shots

i use a 243 for all my stalking roe fallow and red a good 100grn bullet put in the wright spot will stop a deer its the fellow behind the rifle who makes it a bad shot not the rifle also a lot of people try to shoot reds at long range get up close stalk your deer

the distance is 50 foot from the center of the road ie the white line

try an old decoy bag if you dont want to pay a lot out for a roe sack you can pick them up for around £20

your best bet would be to book a few days stalking with a guide or look in the sporting press for syndicates looking for new members but that can be costly you could pay up to £1000 for a gun in the syndicate there would be 4 to 6 guns in it thats what they normally ae but there could be more guns in it

i agree if you are going to shoot hares then a .17 is the tool to do the job but i would rather watch them than shoot them to heavy to carry around or is that me just being lazzy
