Go out just before sunset or early in the morning just before sunrise, to a field wheres theres plenty of rabbits and try walking him upto some squaters, get as close as you can, he should hopefully see them and when they bolt slip him, (as long as he can see it), then you will see how his drive is at the moment and if he doesnt run then he will need more work, so you could do something like what rory sed!! And well done you work your own dogs aint you clever, your dogs might have experience but you aint got any, just because you worked dogs last season dont mean your clever and running things out of season shows your a great huntman doesnt it billy.
