    Few Buddy daughters about that are small.

    Got to agree with star. .Nellie wasn't much bigger though.
    only seen star and Nellie on tape, star seemed tiny, did you see much of them?
    Yes mate and I don't think there was much between them both were consistent season after season.

    Comparing spaniels and other gun dogs to Salukis is like comparing chalk and cheese, I've never had any problems with stock worrying or recall for that matter and to suggest a dog that has been unchanged for thousands of years is thick, is plain naive or stupid. Also why would you chastise a dog to the point it screams, people who don't or can't understand something always ridicule it.

    Collies and spaniels are biddable, they crave attention and have to be given direction all the time a saluki trained properly knows this. Also a Salukis behaviour is more feline than canine, they often will only give themselves to one member of the family showering their chosen master with love and affection. This has been the case with many Salukis that we've had.

    Joe spring Thorpe owned him in 1976 then sold him to Ken Gould he then sold him to lads up north he was called fire and there supposed to be a book wrote about him ? I think he ended up near Scotland and killed a fare share of hares there

    I will try and find reference to the book, that would be a good read.

    Khan was just ok during the day he only ever did 3 twice and 2 20 odd times plenty of 1s and tons of 0s he would spoil a good day running here after hare so I changed to the lamp (rabbits only) and as I mentioned earlier he was Bob on. and that was good enough for me

    That was 6seasons DB the best one was when I was beating Kipper 2 - 0 at Southport Khan caught his 2 before 10 am skipper kept me on the land till almost dark he caught a 3/4 Kenny Everest to make it 2_2 you would have though he had won the world cup with his celebration lol . . Happy days

    Most were line bred for years barring the one straight out khan, but tbh that was nowt special but did have the ability to run forever tbh haha but that all it wanted to do was run

    above you say you aint seen one run you clown and a couple posts below your making out you seen one regular . you do understand you would have to see one run regular to make an informed opinion .a typical internet hunter with how many usernames do you have ?
