  1. I have a set of four alloy wheels that came off my volvo S40. They were the original ones on the car when I bought it and have the Volvo centre cap. I know they will fit on the S40, V40, S70 and V70 but don't know about others. They are 16" and have Michelin Pilot 205/50/16 tyres fitted, all tyres have at least 3-4mm on them and there are no serious dents etc on the wheels. Been lying in my shed for a year and need to fund new air rifle. Am looking for £250 (or swap), for the tyres and wheels, will need picked up due to cost of shipping, I can travel if not too far. I can email photos and get
  2. I spent the day yesterday stripping it down properly and it was manky, before cleaning I couldn't even get it to penetrate some wood I had lying about. So it got a really good clean and gave the piston and tube a wee polish with some autosol, I don't have any of the correct lubricants yet so I used a very light oil that I normally use in a refrigerant compressor just to see how it was going to work. Well I must say it has improved drastically! It is now burrying pellets full length into a piece of half inch timber, don't know if it should be more or less powerful but it's a good start. The pis
  3. thanks for the reply, found their site and a nice big diagram of parts, will hopefully order some bits on monday, in the meantime I think I might get the sandpaper out and redo the stock. One other question which I should have asked earlier, would this air rifle be any use for rabbits when up to strength or would I be better buying something more powerful for that? cheers darren
  4. hi everyone, just managed to salvage a Webley Hawk M2 before it got binned, it doesn't look in too bad cosmetic shape but mechanically speaking I think it is need of some TLC. It has been sitting in a garage unused for a few years so first off I stripped it down and gave it a good clean and lube. When cocking it, it is a bit crunchy and seems to be lacking a bit of power. Can anyone tell me where to get some parts, ie seals, springs etc? What was the original power rating? I am not interested in taking it over 12ft/lb but would like to get it up there. I bought a box of .22 pellets for it to
  5. hey everyone, just popping in to introduce myself. My name is darren and have been given an air rifle that was going to be chucked in the bin, so being the scrounger I am, I decided to take it home with me and try to relive some of my childhood memories out shooting with my uncle.
