  5. Its been a long time since ive worked my ferrets but having recently joined this site i found myself waiting for the weekend to go out in the field and have a bash. Found myself at an old haunt on a holiday park bunnies a bit thin on the ground at the moment Managed to bolt 3, im out of practice they all slipped me but the dog a saving grace picked 1 up I was suprised how young they all were suppose its the mild weather?? On way back to the car bumped into 2 fellas with ferrets and a harris hawk hope there on this site it was a magnificent looking bird lads and a pair of lovely
  6. Hi all just found the forum, im on the North Wales coast and mainly sea fish this time of the year. I save the course fish for the summer months. I have a lurcher and ferrets but to be honest with work and prolific mixxy in his area the ferrets dont get out enough. Ive owned ferrets 12-13 year years and can dust the nets and gear off if anyone knows of bunnies on permission and fancies a jolly out. cheers
  7. I have 9 ferrets and 1 of them is a land shark, a very small Jill which will go straight for the hand the minute you open the cage. She is last years litter, her sister is housed with her and is an ANGEL. 12 years of ferret ownership and im now stumped. I wouldnt consider 'knocking it on the head' or releasing it to certain death she is just handled with extreme caution
