  3. im a lurcherman,...always have been always will be...... however im very much thinking about purchasing a greyhound, and maybe seeing how it goes on the track....now i dont know anything about greyhound racing, so i think i need to start at the beginning and look into the whole aspect of this side of the game before i decide about it... but a quick question for the greyhound lads and lasses on here......do you need to take a dog to a trainer?....also if you can school your own, is it a case of taking it to a track, and having a go etc? (now i know it will be more in depth than that)

  9. cheers for the replies yes molly,..very true and it would be a shame...however with no respect to the lads and lasses growing things, the lads with the stables and buildings etc will have the most to lose in my eyes,...they have some very impressive set ups and some of it cant be moved....yes they could always start building again, but what about the time, money etc thats been spent on there present plots whether it will happen who knows,.....hopefully not valentino
  10. ok, my mate has a allotment on farmland (not council owned) and apparantley the farm is going to move them... the lads have a 99 year lease to be there, however the farmer wants to move them to the field next door now this is ok if you only have afew vegetables etc to grow..but there are lads there with stables,....concrete floors, breeze block buildings,...some lads build sheds in there steel buildings etc,...and for some it would be impossible to move there buildings so my question is....does someone have to come out and give these lads compensation for there gardens? vale

  14. i have just clicked on there properties...the sizes are 2.5 mb....where as the pics i took the other day are 1.5 kb anyway round this or are they just too big to go on? kay...sorry for my ignorance...but what are they and where will i find it? valentino
  15. basically im trying to upload some pics, but its not working on the pics i want to use so i go to browse files...i choose my pics.....then press upload....anyway when i upload, it seems to be very slow, then it says i havnt chose a file to upload???? however when i uploaded some pics i took afew days ago it works fine.....and everything ive done from taking the pics is exactly the same, same camera same folder etc any help cheers valentino

  17. good question...i cant really give a price as i have nothing to compare as i havnt seen many single barns forsale (in a farn yard etc) so not sure....but i have had a look at new barns and steel buildings so thats all i can go on....and id expect them to be cheaper? but if i can gets the price right..........you never know cheers valentino
  18. cheers for replies......basically there will be alot of stock...and yes it will need supervision what i would prefrably like is a barn in a farmyard (you know the type half breeze block half steel or wood type) and build the stables inside there and whatever else i wanted in there....like haystorage and a upstairs where you can sit etc.. kennels .....whatever else i needed and obviously the static cheers valentino

    basically i was just wondering if i could put a static caravan in a field (my own) and live in it.....and if i was to buy a wood (3acres) could i also put it in there and live in it....? one last question...is there any websites with farm buildings forsale... cheers valentino
