    Hi and thankyou all! im going to get a cheaper scope i think and stay with the eagle, reason is my pal has a wolf and its really good so im hoping with a lesser grade scope i might see a big differnce, just wish i could of done some homework first but thats my fault. shame really because the niteforce i use is well suited for me being a bit ruff and ready. thanks again chris

    yes mate i have rang and left a message today to tell them whats happened! there supposed to be a good company so il let you know, there was nothing written anywhere to say there not compatible with certain rifle scopes.  thanks for the replys its been really helpfull.

    Its took me two years to get some gold finches to start on my feeders + bull finches and an a mixture of other birds, a fukin cat just ran off with one spiteful bxxstrd, far to many around here

    ok this is where i am now! all the skins have been soaked in alum and salt for 48 hours, iv hung them out to dry (god knows what next door are thinking) the skin feels really grippy if that makes sense! the fur seems a bit loose as in it pulls out quite easy but il give them a good brush when there dry, fingers crossed they should be ok il keep you posted

    Hi i got a few deer hides and have been looking how to cure them! i looked about and found some stuff on doing it yourself but nothing really clear.

     

    so far iv stretched them out after washing them so there semi dry then covered with salt, will this work? or have you got something nice and simple i can do as im a bit of a thick git, chhers
