  1. I'm going to be selling my SJ410 very shortly, real good shooting/dogging truck cheap to tax and insure it's on a C plate 84/85 I think?

runs well for it's age classic bumpy ride it's got wider tyres than normal 235/75x15 AT tread pattern taxed and tested until end of june 08 it went straight through the last MOT needing no work at all doing. The only reason I'm selling it is because i'm getting a disco i've got no pictures at the moment but will try to do some in daylight tommorow it's also fitted with a proper suzuki dog guard

looking for £250ono, please at that price no tyre kickers or picture hunters.

    Thanks Phil

is it still available mate?? why so cheap?

PLEASE read the advert :wallbash: "I'm getting a disco" so i'm selling this before it gets parked in the barn and just left because i won't have time to sort advertising out elsewhere.

  2. HI PHIL, IM ONLY IN TAMWORTH AN VERY INTERESTED IN YOUR TRUCK. HAVE YOU STILL GOT IT? IS THE BODY WORK TIDY OR IS IT ROUGH? CHEERS YOURS IN SPORT STAN.

It's £250  what do you want a minter :whistling: No seriously it's got the usual suzuki rusty places but like I said in the original Ad it went straight through the last mot.

  3. i mite have it off you mate, is it taxed and MOT? let me know.

Yes it's taxed and mot'd(please read Ad!!) It's not the best in the world looking wise but it's a good solid little truck I use it every day to go to work about 5 miles each way.

  5. I have a couple of larsen frames available that were built for orders that never came to anything. They're just getting in the way now so I want to get them moved on.

They're built to Game Conservency Trust plans and come fully fitted with sprung doors, access lid, collapsing perches and dividers; you just need to add on the mesh.

I'm open to offers but you need to realise that the materials cost me £20 before I put any time in. You need to be able to collect from within 10 miles of M42 J5

:icon_redface: Were those the ones for the guy I put you onto mate?? Told you so :whistling:

  6. Iv done ducks for years and there's two ways to get them up, the way i do is to feed them away from the pond maybe a field away, just pour say ,15 or 20 bags of corn the distance you wont to feed them from the pond and then just leave them to get on with it, but keep checking and when they get to where the corn ends say 300 yards away just feed them there and ONLY there , don't make the mistake of thinking they are starving as on some ponds they find food for days 200 ducks i give a 25 kg bag a day one hundred a bucket a day ,and then just go to the pond with a flag start cracking it and run at them and don't give the ducks time to THINK , half the battle is to keep them sharp so they don't get to fat, years ago i used to have army of beaters trying to get them up with me nowadays i do it all myself :whistling:

The other SURE FIRE way to get them going if the first way didn't work which it will, if you do it right and this way will normally make them out of range when they start flying so you wont shoot a lot of them during the season is to go to the pond crack a flag and then using a 22 rim fire not a shotgun and make sure you do it right shoot one duck in the HEAD this is very important, then leave the next day do the same buy the third day watch them fly like wild ducks trust me i don't do it this way as they fly to high but if your desperate :wallbash:

Thats brilliant bit of advise there, I had about 150 ducks on a pond a couple of years ago and they just would not fly but I had never heard of the .22 in the head thing.

  7. Cheers Phil. I was wondering whether they were pushing it a bit, claiming it is suitable for a .243. I guess a .17 has a fair crack of a report, and if it can reduce that it might be worth considering for a .243

I wouldn't have a clue about being any good for a .243 mate. Best bet would be to give Tony at Sandwell fieldsports a ring you will get an honest answer of him.

  8. Small kennel+run for sale purpose made, I can e-mail some pictures to interested people this can be taken apart easily for collection which I will do but I'll leave it erected until sold and it will have to be collection only. £50

so can't wait for those nice dark windy nights with the long nets :D but until then I thought we would have a look around with the airguns :gunsmilie: Had 8 in total and of those I managed 5 :whistling: up against £750+ airgun setups with my mear Webley Longbow :feck: 3 of them drew a blank :icon_redface: and one of them had 3. Still managed to get to the pub and get a couple in after we finished :drink: .
